Premier David Burt and Canadian Consul General Khawar Nasim discuss the adoption of digital assets after the COVID-19 global pandemic in an effort to bounce back. Premier David Burt talks about how one positive of the pandemic was that it accelerated individual, local and international adoption of technology whether that be in the web2 or web3 space. From a Bermuda perspective, COVID gave the nation the opportunity to use technology in ways it had not before. Khawar Nasim echoes a similar sentiment to that of Premier Burt in that we can not wait for a disaster to make big changes in our society. Additionally, he adds that technology should no longer be treated as a separate element in Canada as it encompasses almost every aspect of our daily lives.
